The Mecenate dello Sport “Varaldo Di Pietro” Award was created with the aim of assigning important and significant awards to entrepreneurs, professionals and all those who work in the world of sport who have distinguished themselves for having financed and encouraged sports initiatives.
The award is for those who love challenges, real sport, who are committed and believe that sport is a tool for personal growth and all diversity integration.
An award who is received so far by those who promote sport as a teaching of life and civil coexistence, for the principles present in it: loyalty, courage, tenacity, the challenge to their own limits and fears, the sense of belonging, respect for the rules, respect for the adversary for healthy competition, universal brotherhood, but above all respect for oneself.
